Mixtape Vol 1 photo shoot

PHOTOGRAPHY & ART DIRECTION

Product photo shoot for Tattoo Junkee Beauty Kit: Mixtape Vol 1.

We loved shooting with Brooke! What an amazing personality and person! Had so much fun and the photos speak for themselves. An old vintage warehouse door proved to be the perfect backdrop for our scene. It really gave us the industrial look we were going for.

Model: Brooke
Client: Lique Cosmetics

  • It’s true for real estate and for photoshoots! We needed an awesome location to shoot the beautiful Brooke and the awesome new product makeup kit for Tattoo Junkee. We found it and took full advantage of it to get some amazing looks!

  • Shooting late at night. We decided to shoot later in the evening to stay out of the public view since during the day this metal door is located in the middle of an art facility and we wanted to avoid the people traffic as much as we could. It also lent to the dark vibes and mood of the product.

  • Remember to bring coffee, snacks, and water. Everyone gets tired no matter how good a time. Take the stress out of working late.

  • When shooting in interesting locations it’s good to get the mood and vibe going with a portable speaker and your music list! Bring the tunes and let the fun begin. Play what the model will love in order to get into character!

Props help make the shot. We brought our own earphones and vetted the wardrobe from the models closet. Totally worked and looked like we were right on target!
